This tape has an adhesive that prevents broke contamination from non-repulpable splice material. It meets or exceeds TAPPI UM-213 procedure A and meets specific FDA indirect food additive regulations as described under 21 CFR 176.170 (Components of paper and paperboard in contact with aqueous and fatty food).

Application is simple; dispense the tape and apply firm, even rub-down pressure over the taped area to create the best possible adhesion between the tape and the paper surface. A plastic squeegee or similar tool can help achieve the proper uniform pressure.
