3M Venture Tape Cryogenic Vapor Barrier Tape 1555CW is an all-weather multi-layered self-adhesive tape. It’s conformable and designed for low-temperature vapor barrier joint closure applications.
Tough in any weather, this durable, acrylic adhesive tape bonds and seals at temperatures as low as -10 °F (-23 °C).
This zero-permeable, 3-ply laminate features a durable aluminum foil that is 1-mil thick with 0.5 mil polyester film on both sides to protect against pinholes. The tear-resistant backing is conformable, allowing application on irregular and curved surfaces. Plus, the low-temperature acrylic adhesive helps resist extreme weather conditions. Tape is UL723 Classified.

3M™ Venture Tape™ Cryogenic Vapor Barrier Tape 1555CW is a durable, zero permeable 3-ply laminate featuring 1 mil aluminum foil with 0.5 mil polyester film on both sides to help prevent the formation of pinholes in the tape. This multi-layered laminate tape is designed to provide zero permeability and act as a vapor barrier for seaming and vapor barrier joint closure systems. The puncture and tear resistant backing is flexible to conform to curved or irregular surfaces. The backing and the low-temperature acrylic adhesive deliver excellent resistance to weathering, mold, UV and extreme environmental conditions. 3M™ Venture Tape™ Cryogenic Vapor Barrier Tape 1555CW is mounted on a release liner for ease of use and to help preserve the adhesive until application.

3M™ Venture Tape™ Cryogenic Vapor Barrier Tape 1555CW features an aggressive, pressure sensitive acrylic adhesive that bonds and seals well in cold temperatures. It adheres immediately on contact to a variety of materials and features a service temperature that ranges from -40° to 300°F (-40° to 149°C). Once bonded this tape will provide good handling capability for extended periods with excellent aging properties that resist lifting and curling over time.
