It is formulated to remove stubborn substances such as oils, wax, grease and silicone. If left on the surface, these substances will quickly degrade the quality of a priming or paint application. That's why even if you cannot visually see residue on the surface, it's a good idea to do a quick cleaning with our solvent. You don't want to discover that hard-to-see residue was still left behind after you see the adverse effects it has on primed and painted surfaces.
